This Cookie Policy explains how AsbestoPlan uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work and to keep you signed in securely.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are always on. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the Service cannot function without them.

• Authentication / session cookies (set by us and our authentication provider, Supabase) — keep you signed in. Session tokens can refresh while you use the app; signing out ends your app session.
• Payment cookies — when you go through checkout, Stripe may set cookies necessary to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
• Form verification — Google reCAPTCHA loads when you open a contact or chatbot enquiry form. It sets the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for spam detection. We load it through recaptcha.net to avoid loading it from the general Google domain. You can email support instead of using these forms.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

With your consent, first-party browser analytics use session storage for a random session identifier and a fixed published-campaign code. These last for the tab session and help us understand usage and signup sources. They are not required to use AsbestoPlan. We store your accept/reject preference in local storage so we can respect it on future visits.

Where configured, with your consent we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the Service is used (for example which features are used and where people get stuck) so we can improve it. Clarity can record page interactions for session replay and heatmaps and set cookies in your browser. These are not loaded until you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner, and we never use them for advertising. Clarity only runs on our public website pages. It is never loaded in your dashboard, the drawing editor, shared project views, sign-in pages or the admin area, so it does not record your projects, client details or account data.

You choose whether to allow analytics cookies the first time you visit. If you reject them, Clarity is not loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer. If you withdraw consent we stop Clarity immediately and delete its cookies (_clck, _clsk) from your browser.

YouTube videos (loaded on request)

Tutorial and showcase videos are hosted by YouTube. The player and its scripts load only after you press Play or choose a video chapter. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed address. Once loaded, YouTube receives connection and device information and may use cookies under Google's Privacy Policy. This video choice is separate from analytics consent. You can use the written guidance without loading YouTube, or follow the link to watch on YouTube directly.

If you reject analytics, browser product tracking and campaign storage are disabled and Clarity is not loaded. Use the controls below to change your choice. The page reloads to apply it, and rejection removes our analytics session and campaign identifiers from this tab.

What we do not use

With analytics consent, ap_acquisition_v1 in session storage holds a broad arrival category, public landing-page path and capture time for up to 30 minutes in this tab. This helps us understand which visits lead to product activity. It excludes referring URLs, search queries and advertising click identifiers, and is cleared when analytics consent is withdrawn.

We do not use advertising cookies or social-media tracking pixels, and we do not sell your data or profile you across other websites. We also record some product usage events on our own systems (see our Privacy Policy).

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service. Analytics cookies are optional and controlled by the consent choice described above.
