AsbestoPlan is designed to support visual planning, documentation and communication. It is intended for use by competent asbestos professionals who already understand applicable regulations, codes of practice and best industry standards.
What AsbestoPlan is
AsbestoPlan is a browser-based 2D and 3D drawing tool for producing visual enclosure plans for RAMS, plans of work, client communication and site briefings.
What AsbestoPlan is not
- It is not HSE-approved or compliance certified.
- It does not certify enclosure safety or approve asbestos work.
- It does not replace risk assessments, method statements, plans of work or any other statutorily required documents.
- It does not replace competent professional judgement or licensed asbestos contractor responsibilities.
Responsibility
Final enclosure design, risk assessment, method statement, plan of work and statutory compliance remain the responsibility of competent asbestos professionals and, where required, licensed asbestos contractors. Always follow current guidance from the relevant regulator in your jurisdiction.
Generic asset library representations
The AsbestoPlan asset library may include simplified representations of asbestos-industry equipment, signs, airlocks, baglocks, NPUs, vacuums, tools, routes, fencing, vehicles and enclosure components. These assets are provided as generic visual planning aids only. They are not intended to reproduce any specific manufacturer’s product, supplier artwork, trade mark, registered design, approved safety sign, equipment specification or legal signage. Users remain responsible for selecting and using real-world equipment, signage, controls and documentation appropriate to the site, task, legal requirements, manufacturer instructions and competent professional review.
