Common buying questions
Straight answers before you choose Free Preview, a One Project Pass or a subscription.
- Can I use it for one project only?
- Yes. The One Project Pass (£29 one-off) gives you clean, watermark-free exports and 14 days of editing for a single enclosure project — no subscription required.
- Can I cancel after one job?
- Yes. Subscriptions are month-to-month or yearly via Stripe — cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing. You keep access until the period you have paid for ends. A One Project Pass simply expires after 14 days with no recurring charge.
- Does this replace RAMS or plans of work?
- No. AsbestoPlan produces enclosure visuals you drop into existing RAMS, plans of work and client packs. It does not write risk assessments, method statements or statutory notifications for you.
- Can admin or document teams use it without CAD experience?
- Yes. The workflow is draw, drag assets, export — designed for planners and document teams, not CAD specialists. A mouse and desktop browser are recommended for the editor.
- Can supervisors use it for site briefings?
- Yes. Many teams export matching 2D plans and 3D visuals for toolbox talks and site briefings so operatives can see airlock positions, routes and equipment before build.
- Can I paste exports into Word or PDF RAMS templates?
- Yes. Export PNG or JPG for Word templates, or PDF/SVG on paid plans for formal documentation. You control how visuals sit inside your existing RAMS layout.
- Can I add branding and company details?
- Yes — on every paid plan (One Project Pass, Business, Team and Company). Upload your logo and use title blocks with project, client, site and date on exports.
- What happens after the 14-day trial?
- Business and Team trials require a card at checkout, but no charge until the trial ends. Cancel before day 14 and you will not be billed. If you do not subscribe, your account reverts to Free Preview — projects stay saved, exports return to watermarked until you upgrade.
- What is the difference between Free Preview, One Project Pass, Business and Team?
- Free Preview (£0, no card): full editor, 2 saved projects, watermarked exports. One Project Pass (£29 once): one clean export pack, 14 days editing. Business (£49/mo): unlimited projects, 3 users, templates, clean exports, 14-day trial. Team (£129/mo): everything in Business plus 10 users, shared workspace history and roles.
What AsbestoPlan is not for
We are deliberately focused on enclosure visual planning — so you know exactly where we fit in your workflow.
HSE approval or compliance certification
AsbestoPlan is not endorsed, approved or certified by HSE or any regulator.
Automatic RAMS or plan-of-work generation
You produce enclosure visuals to include in your documents — not the statutory paperwork itself.
A replacement for competent asbestos professionals
Final enclosure design, risk assessment and sign-off remain with qualified people in your organisation.
Full architectural CAD or BIM software
Purpose-built for enclosure visual planning — not general building modelling.
A substitute for site-specific risk assessment
Every job needs its own competent review of controls, access, monitoring and emergency procedures.
