Draw walls, finish a wall run and leave the tool

Click each wall corner, finish the current run, then choose Select when you want to stop drawing.

Why this can happen

Finishing a run keeps Wall ready for another run. Leaving the tool is a separate action so you can draw disconnected walls easily.

What to do

  1. Choose Structure → Wall and set the construction and thickness before drawing.
  2. Click or tap the start point, then each corner to place the walls. The helper bar beneath the canvas shows the current controls.
  3. Double-click, press Enter or choose End run to finish. Joining an existing wall or closing a room also finishes the run.
  4. Escape discards the current unplaced preview; walls you already placed stay. On touch screens, use End run. Use Undo if you want to remove a placed wall.
  5. Choose Select to leave Wall and select or move existing items. Finishing a run alone leaves Wall ready for a separate start.

Check before you continue

Check the formed room and its internal measurements. Drawing walls does not verify site measurements or construction suitability.
