Import floor plans from a PDF or an image with several sheets

Preview pages or frames, choose the drawings you need and crop out unrelated content.

Why this can happen

A report may contain several pages, an image may contain several plans, or a WebP may contain animation frames. Choose the relevant sheets before importing.

What to do

  1. Open Floorplan in a saved project and upload your PDF, PNG, JPG or WebP. Floor-plan uploads require a paid plan.
  2. Use the numbered previews to select the pages or frames you need. Rename or rotate them as needed. WebP frames are imported as static images.
  3. Open Crop this sheet to keep only the plan. Use Add another area to take a second crop from the same page.
  4. Choose Import sheets. Each selection appears beside the others; select each sheet and verify its real-world scale before tracing or detection.
  5. If saving fails, retry the failed sheets. Successfully imported sheets are retained and are not imported again. For a password-protected PDF, save an unlocked copy first.

Check before you continue

PDFs may be up to 50 MB and 200 pages; images up to 15 MB and 60 megapixels. Choose up to 10 files totalling 100 MB and import up to 20 sheets at a time. Imports are static underlays, not editable PDF objects or automatically assigned storeys. Poor scans still need manual checking.
