Select a room and open Roof and ceiling. The shape buttons change that room’s roof. Switch to 3D so you can see what each choice produces.

Choose Flat for a flat-roof form. Choose Mono for a single sloping plane. The available settings change with the shape you select, so you can refine the roof after choosing its basic form.

Gable creates two main slopes meeting at a ridge. Hip adds sloping ends. Choose the shape that represents your building, then use the separate pitch and covering lessons to refine its appearance.
