0:00Use a light canvas

Start in two D and open More at the top of the editor. Under Display, set Canvas to Light. This makes it easier to judge the drawing against a pale background before you export it.

0:13Turn on black wall tops

Turn on Black wall tops. The wall cuts become solid black, giving the room a clear outline. This display option is saved with the drawing and also applies to exports. Turn it off again whenever you want to return to the normal wall appearance.

0:29Choose a white export

Open Export and choose the two D plan with Fit plan. Set the background to White and leave Show grid and ground off for a clean document. Choose whether you need the key and title block. This simple example leaves both off.

0:45Check the finished plan

Export the image and open it. Here is the actual downloaded plan: black wall tops, a white background, and the internal measurements still visible. In the next lessons, you can choose which labels and dimensions to keep.
