0:00Start with the drawing

New to AsbestoPlan? The editor brings your drawing and planning symbols together in one project. Start by drawing the building. Here, the Room tool creates a rectangular room with walls, a floor and a ceiling.

0:14Add planning assets

The Assets panel contains the planning library. Search for an item, such as an airlock, then choose a card to place it. The Selected panel lets you change the item you have clicked, including its position and rotation.

0:27Explain movement with routes

Routes help explain movement around the drawing. Choose the route type, click to add points, and press Enter to finish. You can also add labels to make the purpose of the route clearer.

0:39See the same project in 3D

Switch to three D to see the same project in perspective. Split view puts the two D drawing beside the three D model. You are looking at two views of one project, so there is no separate model to rebuild.

0:52Take the drawing into a document

When you are ready to take a visual into a document, open Export. Choose the view, format and presentation options. The other videos in this library take you through each of these tasks step by step.
