Adjust roof pitch and direction
Set pitch, overhang and ridge direction to refine a room roof.

0:00Set the pitch
With a pitched roof selected, find Pitch in Roof and ceiling. Choose a preset or type an angle. Here, we change twenty-two point five degrees to thirty-five degrees, making the roof steeper.
0:13Set the overhang
Overhang controls how far the roof projects beyond the walls. Enter the distance in millimetres. This example uses three hundred millimetres in Overhang all, applying the same starting distance around the roof.
0:27Choose the ridge direction
Use Across width or Across depth to change the ridge direction. Here, Across depth turns the ridge along the other axis of the room. Compare the 3D result to the building you are drawing.
