Choose wall types and thicknesses
Choose all room walls or one boundary, use a construction preset, enter a custom thickness and review clear internal measurements.

0:00Choose which walls to change
Select your room and open Wall build-up. Apply changes to lets you choose every wall or one wall. Here, All walls is selected, and the room uses the Brick construction preset at two hundred and twenty-five millimetres.
0:14Change one wall
For a different boundary, change Apply changes to to Wall one. Choose Cavity. Only that wall changes to the three hundred millimetre preset. The other walls stay as they were. Choose the construction that represents your drawing.
0:30Enter a custom thickness
To use a different thickness, type the value in Wall thickness and press Tab. Here, we enter two hundred and seventy-five millimetres. The construction becomes Custom. A new material preset can reset the thickness, so choose your preset before entering a custom size.
0:46Review the space inside
Open Room measurements to see the clear internal spans, area and perimeter. These values account for the modelled wall thicknesses. In our example the internal spans are now two thousand nine hundred and seventy-five by one thousand four hundred and fifty millimetres.
