Measurements or labels have disappeared

Why this can happen

Global display choices and individual object settings can both hide annotations.

What to do

1. Open More → Display. Hide all labels hides names and notes; Equipment labels hides equipment names without removing their symbols or key entries. Auto dimensions controls automatic sizes. The key has its own visibility controls. Door labels and Window labels are off by default and can be enabled separately.
2. Room names, internal spans and area stay inside their room. At distant zooms a small room shows its name or name and area first; zoom in for the full size summary. Enable External room dimensions for extra span lines outside rooms; manually placed dimensions stay visible independently.
3. For a placed label or dimension, check whether its object or layer is hidden.
4. For an export without labels, open Export and turn off Include drawing labels; the editor view stays unchanged. Preview export lets you inspect the result, and Back to settings returns to the export options. For a fixed-scale PDF, choose a larger drawing scale (for example 1:50 instead of 1:100) if a small room’s text cannot fit.
