Hide and restore dimensions and labels
Reduce annotation clutter using the global display controls or the settings for one selected room.
Before you start: Start with a labelled drawing. The example includes automatic measurements and a manually placed dimension line.

0:00Hide automatic measurements
Open More at the top of the editor and find Display. Turn off Auto dimensions to hide the automatic sizes on walls and assets. Dimension lines you have placed yourself remain visible, as the blue line does in this example.
0:15Hide drawing labels
Labels has its own control. Switch off Labels to hide names and Label tool text. Close the menu to see the cleaner drawing. The room and walls are still present, and the manually placed dimension line remains.
0:29Restore the global settings
To bring the annotations back, open More again. Switch Labels and Auto dimensions back on. Their check marks show which options are enabled. You can choose either setting independently for the drawing you want to present.
0:44Change one selected room
For one room, select it and open Appearance and style. Use Hide dimensions and Hide label to hide that room’s own annotations. To restore them, choose Dimensions hidden, show, and Label hidden, show. An annotation hidden on an individual item also needs restoring on that item.
